Warranty

Velicon Limited and its employees are proud of our products and are committed to providing our customers and end users with the best designed and manufactured products. This Standard Warranty and Service Policy describes Velicon’s warranty and warranty procedures.

Scope of Warranty: All Velicon products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials.

Warranty Period: Velicon products are warranted for 12 months from the date of shipment to the customer from the Velicon facility. All warranty claims must be submitted to Velicon in writing prior to expiration of the warranty period. The components not manufactured by Velicon carry the original manufacturer’s warranty, typically 90 days for all electronic-related components and 180 days for all mechanical-related components. The Warranty is effective only upon payment in full for the product(s) or service(s) to be warranted, extends only to the original Buyer, and may not be transferred to end users or other third parties by operation of law or otherwise.

Procedure to Receive Warranty Service: If a problem arises within the applicable warranty period, it is the responsibility of the Purchaser to (a) promptly notify Velicon in writing, (b) obtain a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) from Velicon, (c) return to Velicon facilities the product(s) that are claimed to be defective (transportation expenses must be prepaid by the Purchaser). The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of package(s). Please include an explanation of the defect or problem, a description of the way in which the product is used, your name, address and phone number.

Repair by Other than Velicon: A repair by anyone other than Velicon must be approved in writing in advance by Velicon.

Repairs or Replacement Within the Scope of the Warranty: Within a reasonable time after receiving written notification and product(s), Velicon will correct any defect(s) in products(s). If a product is defective due to  workmanship or materials and the defect occurs during the warranty period, Velicon will either repair the product or replace it with a new one, whichever Velicon believes to be appropriate under the circumstances. Velicon is not responsible for removal and shipping of the products to Velicon location, the reinstallation of the product upon its return to the customer, or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the defect, removal, reinstallation, shipment or otherwise. If Velicon is unable to repair the product(s) after a reasonable number of attempts, or if Velicon determines at any time that the repair is impractical, Velicon will provide a replacement with like or similar products(s). The Purchaser is responsible for all transportation expenses to and from Velicon and for all labor expenses associated with the removal and replacement of the products(s) as well as for labor involved to repair products(s). Velicon will bear the expense of parts only.

Repairs Outside the Scope of Warranty: Problems with Velicon products can be due to improper maintenance, improper application, faulty installation, non-Velicon additions or modifications, or other problems not due to defects in Velicon’s workmanship or materials. If Velicon determines that the problem with the product is not due to defects in workmanship or materials, then the customer will be responsible for the cost of any necessary repairs.

Intended Use: Velicon products are designed for commercial use and/or specific industrial applications. Such applications must be agreed upon in writing between customer and Velicon prior to commissioning the warranted product(s).

Product Specification: All product specifications, applications and other information provided in Velicon’s literature and publications are subject to correction and change without notice and should be confirmed with Velicon’s representative prior to ordering.

Extended Warranties: Extended warranties are available for Velicon products. These warranties are created on an as needed basis. Extended warranties are subject to the terms and procedures of this Limited Warranty and Service Policy as modified by the additional terms of the extended warranty.

No Other Warranties and Liability Limitation: This Limited Warranty and Service Policy represents Velicon’s sole and exclusive warranty obligation with respect to Velicon’s products. Velicon’s liability to a customer or any other person shall not exceed the Velicon sales price of the applicable product.

VELICON DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY.

Velicon reserves the right to change this policy as business conditions warrant.
